Today in Play: Kid skates in 50 states

SkateboardWhen Logan Winkler told his dad he'd rather be skateboarding than studying, his dad didn't lecture. He came up with a way where Logan could skateboard more AND do better in school.

Logan, a sixth grader from New Hampshire, now has an ambitious goal - to skateboard in every one of the 50 states over the course of his school year. He's doing his sixth grade coursework as he travels, and applying history, geography, and even physics lessons as he skates!

You can find out where he's going next and join him at the skatepark. Learn more on his website, cleverly named the 50skatekid.
