Our favorite photos of autumn play

With its crisp temperatures and mellow sunlight, autumn is a perfect season for playing outdoors. Falling leaves create a playspace rife with opportunities for gathering, jumping, and burrowing. Meanwhile, bare branches, haystacks, and scarecrows beckon.

We recently asked you to share photos of autumn play as part of our Thanksgiving Challenge. An anonymous donor had pledged to give KaBOOM! $2 for each image posted to help us reach our goal of 5,000 online actions between Nov. 1 and Thansgiving.
