Who says you can't go home? Pop star Jon Bon Jovi is helping to build a playground today with SAP, the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation, KaBOOM!, and local volunteers at Rafael Cordero Molina Elementary School in Camden, N.J., the poorest city in the singer's home state.
According to the South Jersey Courier-Post, "The '70s-era playground at the elementary school is to be replaced with a 2,500-square-foot play area with slides, a tunnel, a six-foot rock wall and balancing beam at a cost of about $83,600. A mural is also expected at the site."
We'll be posting photos from the build within a few days, and will be retweeting information from the build site today on our Twitter account.
