3 playground projects to get equipment grants

The votes are in! Congratulations to our three awardees for the Promote Your Project design contest, which asked entrants to show their community, and the world, that they are going to build a great place to play. The contest was open to all DIY projects registered in the KaBOOM! Playground Project Planner.

Ten finalists were chosen by our panel of celebrity judges, which included Caressa Cameron, Miss America 2010; Antawn Jamison, Cleveland Cavaliers NBA Star; and Carter Oosterhouse, host of HGTV’s Carter Can and Red Hot & Green. Then the first-, second-, and third-place awardees were determined by a public vote.
