
Danielle Turnage’s 25-year career spans education, advertising, events, marketing communications, and development. This unique mix of experiences is rooted in her passion for children, equity, stakeholder engagement, and building high-functioning teams that drive organizational success.
Danielle committed herself to mission-driven work when she joined Habitat for Humanity International in 2007, where she led global brand strategy, special initiatives, and donor engagement, introducing innovative approaches to stewardship, development operations, and event management.
As Chief of Staff at KABOOM!, Danielle serves as a strategic bridge between leadership and operations, facilitating cross-departmental collaboration and ensuring cohesive execution of organizational priorities. She leads annual strategic planning processes, manages board relations and reporting, and spearheads major organizational initiatives. Her systems-focused approach to change management and performance monitoring helps advance KABOOM!’s mission to end playspace inequity in communities across the country experiencing disinvestment.
Having previously served in development and program operations roles at KABOOM!, Danielle brings deep institutional knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of how to scale mission-driven organizations while maintaining accountability to stakeholders and measurable impact.
Danielle earned a BS from Spelman College and holds an MBA. Her hobbies include traveling, interior design, and crafting.
