Georgia Playspace Refresh Fund
Thanks to the generous support of the Atlanta Falcons Youth Fund and Georgia Power, KABOOM! has awarded grants of up to $25,000 to help communities in Georgia keep their playgrounds safe, vibrant, and ready for play! Whether you need to replace worn-out equipment, update your surfacing, or add creative touches that spark joy and imagination, this grant can help you bring your playspace back to life.

2025 Application Details
Who can apply?
We are looking for child-serving nonprofits or municipal agencies in Georgia that:
• Serve 25 or more kids per year
• Have existing play equipment that needs maintenance or improvements
Project Ideas We Love
Your playground maintenance project might include (but is not limited to):
Get creative! If they can dream it, this grant can support making their dreams a reality.
Add a community garden or native plants
Add shade
Repair or replace surfacing
Improve or repair play equipment
Add a little library or other enhancement project
How To Apply
Get your playground ready to shine! Submit your application before July 10, 2025. You’ll need to submit:
• A completed application
• Recent photos of your current playspace
• A short vision statement describing the improvements you would like to make
• A list of materials needed for this project
• Cost estimates or quotes you have received for improvements
