Habitot Children's Museum
Sand Zone!, hosted and created by the Habitot Children's Museum, transformed a 3,600 square foot parking lot into a pop-up play space featuring a giant sandbox, interactive art, and plenty of tools for digging, excavating and building.
Sand Zone! was a huge success, generating more than 80,000 minutes of active play for 1,757 kids in just seven days! Even Lorenzo Alexander, Oakland Raiders linebacker and Bay Area native, stopped by to participate in the fun with his family.
