Playmaker Cynthia Gentry featured in AJC

Cynthia Gentry, the KaBOOM! Playmaker who is currently leading the Playable 2010 design competition, was featured in a fantastic article in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Friday! The article is about how Gentry helped get Imagination Playground pieces into Bethune Elementary School, and some of her other work bringing play back to the kids of Atlanta.

One thing I didn't know about was her work building a massive treehouse at a camp for kids with serious illnesses and disabilities. Not only did they build an amazing treehouse, but Cynthia worked with a local art students to get totem-like sculptures to line the pathway to the treehouse, adding to the sense of wonder.
