Benner Memorial Hall and its grounds date back to the 1940s. For decades, Benner Hall was a beacon of community spirit, abuzz with activity. But all things change with time.
Now, playground equipment sits rusty and worn. Wooden posts supporting shade structures are slowly eroding. Weeds grow through cracks in the tennis courts.
See for yourself:
The Richlandtown Parks and Rec Board has decided that enough is enough. With plans to renovate the playground and park within the next few years, the Board has already raised $243,000 and has been energetically tracking its progress on kaboom.org.
