SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - A flurry of activity in a Glendale Park today will lead to many happy hours for children in the community.

Team Depot, comprised of workers from Home Depot stores across the valley worked at a feverish pitch to build a playground, where there was none, in a matter of hours.

Hundreds of volunteers used their regularly scheduled days off to create mulch, pound nails, and assemble slides. The materials were donated through the KaBOOM Organization ( www.kaboom.org) , which has a goal of creating a playground within walking distance of every child in the United States. [More]
