Alumni Intern

Department Description:

As part of our Project Management team, the Alumni Network is focused on developing a network of past community groups that have led a community build or have been part of a KaBOOM! led playspace project.  This Alumni Network connects past partners to each other as well as to individuals and organizations who have yet to build providing  information and support in an effort to increase the level of engagement and action for play.

Key Responsibilities of Internship:

• Assist Alumni Manager with outreach to past Community Partners to sign them up as active Alumni
• Assist with ongoing outreach in targeted geographical areas to further develop and strengthen the Alumni Mentor Program in those areas
• Assist with research to further enhance and strengthen the Alumni Network
• Assist with production of Online Trainings targeted at Alumni on need-be basis

Key Qualifications:

• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, including writing and telephone skills
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proficient in the use of databases, email, and general computer applications

Preferred Degree Concentration:

• Communication
• Non-Profit Management

Work Hours:

• Approximately 35 hours per week.

Length of Internship:

• Flexible, approx. 8+ weeks.

Salary/Stipend:

• This is an unpaid internship.
