KaBOOM! National Partner: MetLife Foundation

 

MetLife Foundation has a longstanding commitment to empowering individuals and building healthy communities. Today, this tradition is evident in our business practices, the volunteer activities of MetLife associates, and our community investments, all of which make a positive difference in communities around the world and across the United States. Through its activities, MetLife Foundation focuses on empowering older adults, preparing young people and building livable communities.

We are very proud of our history of working with nonprofit organizations, including KaBOOM!. MetLife Foundation recognizes that playgrounds are essential building blocks for healthy communities. As early as 1924, MetLife partnered with the Playground and Recreation Association of America, bringing community playgrounds to cities across the country. Today, that legacy continues with our national partnership with KaBOOM!. In 2010, MetLife associates helped build five playgrounds, including a new playground serving more than 6,000 low-income children in Mexico City. We are proud of our work with KaBOOM!, working together to provide fun, safe and healthy place for children of all ages.
