services auction

I have, in the past, had great success with a church fundraiser where people donate their services and other things depending on their specialty and then have a silent auction. some of the things auctioned off were tax preparation, baking/cooking, music, dance and sports lessons etc. there is no overhead as all of it is donated. the only major drawback is it does take quite a bit of organization and phone calling to get it going.
