We held teathered hot air balloon rides last night and this turned out to be a wonderful idea. We had contact with a person who owns a hot air balloon and they charged us a minimal fee for the propane and we charged for adults and children to ride. This has great potential for a huge money maker. We also sold baked goods, our design day tshirts, and raffeled off movie passes. We charged $20 for the adults to ride in the balloon (you could charge even more for the rides) and $10 for kids. We raised close to $700.0, it was awesome. We had a good turn out and the weather cooperated nicely.
