Forum Guidelines

In order to maintain the best online community and assure the best possible experience for all users of www.kaboom.org, we ask that you agree to and abide by these Forums Guidelines -- our “social contract” with one another. KaBOOM! forums comprise a diverse and robust community. By following a few simple guidelines, each member helps to assure a good experience for everyone.

Exercise courtesy and respect with others:

• Do not harass, abuse or threaten other participants.
• Do not impersonate other people, businesses, entities or KaBOOM! staff or representatives.
• When different points of view occur, and they will, respond to the opinion, not the opinion holder.
• Agree to disagree. Do not engage in arguments or be lured into argumentative situations with other members.
• Hate speech is not permitted.
• Profanity is not permitted.

Stay on Topic:

• Pay attention to the purpose and goals Forum owners set for their areas.
• Choose a discussion relevant to the topic you are interested in discussing prior to posting.

Do Not Solicit or Advertise

• Responding appropriately to a request for information about a vendor or a product is acceptable.
• Do not post random information or “spam” the discussions with information intended to advertise your product or business or solicit business.

Posts About Vendors or Products

• You may post about an experience with a vendor or a product, but you may only share information about the vendor’s business name, city and state in the Forums. When posting about your experience with a dealership, you may post ONLY the dealership name, city, state and/or a link to the website. You may not post a salesperson's name, phone numbers, or email addresses. Use e-mail or other methods of communication to share more detailed information.
