The KaBOOM! National Campaign for Play engages communities and citizens in a national effort to bring play back to our cities while combating such social ills as childhood obesity, attention deficit disorder and violence among our nation's children. The KaBOOM! National Campaign for Play incorporates two signature programs: Playful City USA and the Playmaker Network. Playful City USA is a national recognition program honoring cities and towns across the country that make five commitments to promote the importance of play. The Playmaker Network is a national network made up of individuals working at the local level to ensure an abundance of time and space for play in their community.
