Since I am originally from Detroit, it really makes me feel good when KaBOOM! builds a playground in the Detroit area. Generally when "The D" makes headlines, its either a sports thing (go Tigers!), a bad thing (lay-offs), or a worse thing (murders, muggings, mayhem).
I just wanted to give an extra dose of sunshine to a KaBOOM! article about a recent Detroit build, as well as an item on the KaBOOM! Myspace page about a build in Warren, Michigan, a city just outside Detroit made famous in the film "8 Mile".And I hope I count on all Boomers to root for the Lions during their football game over Thanksgiving!
