Radio Advertising

We have 3 1/2 weeks until our playground build and still have a need for some additional volunteers and in-kind donations. We are thinking about utilizing our radio promotions to recruit volunteers and get more support during these next few weeks. Any tips/advice before we go on air?

We started our radio campaign today. So far, so good. I've had a couple of folks call with financial contributions and a sign company has agreed to donate a custom-made sign for our park and playground which will acknowledge major donors/contributors to the project.

One idea is to make it a competition between two radio stations to see who can recruit the most volunteers.  I have seen this work with other fundraising activities with great success.  Good luck.
