consignment sale

Our fundraising/PTO just had a consignment sale and it was a huge success. Our school system has a very strict dress code, and it's hard to find compliant clothes in regular department stores. It was an opportunity to sell some things, buy some things and make money for the playground project. We are hoping to have another one in the future.

How much did you make?  Does nayone know where I can get some idea pretty quickly of how much money it's possible to mnake on different kinds of fundraising events?  Thanks for any guidance on this !  ! !
