What are you doing to celebrate your Playful City National Recognition? The City of Safety Harbor has added the Playful City Usa Logo to the front of our Recreation Program Guide that is mailed out to all of our residents 3 times a year.

Fantastic Story of Children working for change

A group of frustrated students from a city elementary school have moved to greener pasture -- except in this case the greener pasture is more like a greener playground.

When natural selection claimed a pair of trees last this year at Strathmillan School, a batch of third graders hatched plans to replace the shrubbery in hopes of keeping their schoolyard green and full of fresh air.
