We completed our build at the Taunton YMCA daycare center on April 20th.  This was fantastic.  Both the Taunton Home Depot and the YMCA communities came together for a great day of building.  Adam Stern and Sam Horn from the Red Sox organization attended, but the stars were our children site formen - the kids have a brand new playground. Yeah!!!!!

I just came back from the University of Play in Chicago.  We build a playground on the southside of Chicago - It is an island of brightness where we worked alongside Chicago Charter School and Home Depot people in a sea of orange, white and purple shirts - building, painting, moving mulch.  We kept on going, even when the official jobs were done, some of us kept weeding and clearing overgrown vegetation.  KaBoom is supporting people hungry to make a visible difference.
