More About Me
Pine Lake was recently selected for a build at the end of August of 2008. Pine Lake is a great and active community with plenty of open greenspace. When we moved here in 2004, really thought that this community had everything we could ever want to raise our then theoretical children. We didn't realize until our first child started toddling that there really is no safe, interactive place for him to practice his new climbing skills without getting in the car and leaving Pine Lake. Historically Pine Lake has been more of a retirement or empty nester type community. There is a ;metal slide that is absolutely frightening to the parents of younger children (but a blast for the 12 year olds). The metal slide is also in full sunlight, so it is unusable on hot days. It seemed like such a tease to have a play structure like that, but know that we really wouldn't be able to use it for a few years. Thank you KaBoom for selecting Pine Lake and we can't wait to do this build. There are so many parents with small children here now that have been working on this dream for over a year. With the prospect of a new playground, more parents and very importantly, grandparents have been coming out of the woodwork to ask how they can help.
