The KaBOOM! Playspace Finder is a free, searchable directory that helps you and others locate playgrounds, skate parks, sports fields, and even ice rinks across America.

You can help find and rate every playspace in America! Adding playspaces to the Playspace Finder is a great and easy way to get your kids outside to play, help visitors and new residents in your community locate nearby playgrounds, and create positive changes in the state of play in your neighborhood. Playspace Finder is a great resource for communities to identify where there need to be more — or better — playspaces for their kids.

How do I find and rate a playspace?
Search for playspaces near you, then take a minute and tell us the REAL story about what it's like there by rating it and adding a comment. The rating system can be used to alert local communities about playspaces that need a little help. If you don't see your favorite playspace listed, you can add it yourself to the Playspace Finder even more helpful!

How do I add a playspace?
Step 1: Go play! Explore places to play in your neighborhood, test out the equipment, take pictures — a mobile phone camera works well — and take notes on the space's overall "play value." (We've got a great worksheet to help you do this.) Bring kids along if you can, so you can get the straight scoop from the true playground experts!

Step 2: Tell us what you think! Enter the information, photos, and your opinions – good or bad – about the playspace. It only takes a minute!

How can I spread the word?

• Recruit others to join you in finding places to play in their communities.
• Find playspaces that need help and point them out to people who can make a difference!
• Add your comments to other playspaces.
• Learn how to get community service credit for adding entries to the Playspace Finder.
• Are you or your neighbors involved in the Girl Scouts? If so, you can earn cool patches for your entire troop for your help with the Playspace Finder.
