Sherri Penton of Gardendale, Ala., the first winner in the KaBOOM! Playspace Finder Sweepstakes, is now the proud owner of a Canon PowerShot 8 megapixel Digital Camera!

"I don't usually win anything, so I'm kind of in shock!" she said.

The mother of three boys, Sunday school leader of K-1st grade at her church, and a pediatric R.N. for 12 years, Sherri is currently working on a playground project for North Birmingham Elementary School. "The school is turning 100 this year, and I'm guessing the equipment is at least 30 years old," she said. "These kids need a new playground!"
