BRIDGEPORT- When Diana Taurasi decided she wanted to start giving back to the state that supported her wholeheartedly during her college career, she set her initial sights on Bridgeport. The former UConn women's basketball star, working with KaBoom!, will announce today that the Bridgeport YMCA has been chosen to become the recipient of the city's first build site, the Connecticut Post has learned.

The playground, which will be at least 2,500 square feet in diameter, will be built on a lot next to the Kolbe Educational Center on Kossuth Street, sources told the Post.
