This year more than 200,000 children will go to the emergency room with playground-related injuries.
As part of Playground Safety Week, which runs through Friday, the Consumer Product Safety Commission has some safety tips for parents.
For starters, make sure that children are playing on equipment that is appropriate for their age. Younger children are developmentally different than older children and need separate areas with different equipment. |
