KaBOOM! and The Home Depot Grant a Child's Wish to Play on NBC's 'Three Wishes'
On Friday, December 2, at 9:00 PM EST on NBC, KaBOOM! and The Home Depot were featured on the hit show Three Wishes. The segment featured a wish for a playground from Nathaniel, a participant in the after school program at Full House Child Development Center in Alamogordo, NM.
On November 17, more than 125 associates from The Home Depot joined an equal number of parents and community residents to build the new playground. KaBOOM! Project Manager Erica Liberman, along with her superstar Second, Hope Deifell, led the project, keeping volunteers working alongside Host Amy Grant. Amy rolled up her sleeves and spent the afternoon pushing wheelbarrows of cement, painting murals, and assembling the Monorail and a Stationary Button. She even joined the kids on the newly painted hopscotch, proving once again that play is not just for children!
