Volunteer on a KaBOOM! Project
If you volunteer to support a community-build playspace project, we promise that though your hands may get dirty, your smile will be wide.
Volunteers are the heart of the KaBOOM! model, because their sweat equity and dedication allow great playspaces to be built in communities that otherwise couldn't afford them.
Although Build Day is the most visible aspect of any playspace project, volunteers contribute to the success of a project long before then. From talent-show fundraisers and promotional poster-making to baby-sitting and cooking, the talents and hobbies of volunteers can surely be put to use by creative planning committees. Take a look at our Project Directory to contact a project leader and find out how you can get involved today!
Find a community playspace build. Visit the websites of communities who have used our free KaBOOM! tool to organize and promote their projects. You can contact a project in your area and volunteer to help, or donate resources.
If you can't find a build near you, try posting your offer to volunteer on our Forums.
