Volunteers are the heart of the KaBOOM! model, because their sweat equity and dedication allow great playspaces to be built in communities that otherwise couldn't afford them.

Although Build Day is the most visible aspect of any playspace project, volunteers contribute to the success of a project long before then. From talent-show fundraisers and promotional poster-making to baby-sitting and cooking, the talents and hobbies of volunteers can surely be put to use by creative planning committees. Find a community playspace build. Visit the portals of communities who have used our free KaBOOM! Online Project Portal tool to organize and promote their projects. You can contact a project in your area and volunteer to help, or donate resources.
